Websites, automation and custom software

Your website should win you work. Not keep you up at night.

We rebuild websites so they’re fast and have nothing left to hack, and host them for what you pay now. When you’re ready, we build the systems behind them, so the rest of your business can run as smoothly.

Sound familiar?

  1. Mon 9:04The site is slow again. Someone says it’s a plugin.
  2. Tue 11:30A customer asks why nobody answered their enquiry. It never reached you.
  3. Wed 4:45Another warning about a WordPress security flaw.
  4. Thu 7:20You copy the same job into three tools before anyone can start.

None of it is your job. All of it lands on you.

Step 1 · Your website

Start with the front door. Most websites leave it open.

Today: one public server does everything
  • Your pages
  • WordPress
  • Plugins
  • PHP
  • Database

Reachable by anyone on the internet

After: your site, split in two

Visitors get a fast, finished site

Static pages on a global network. Nothing running to break into.

WordPress moves backstage

Your team edits as before. It isn’t on the public internet.

  1. Today, most WordPress sites build each page on the fly, with software anyone on the internet can reach. That’s why they slow down, and why flaws like PHP2Shell matter.
  2. We move WordPress backstage. Your team keeps the same editor. It just isn’t public any more.
  3. Visitors get a finished copy of your site from a global network: quick to load, with nothing running for an attacker to reach.

From $4,200 then hosting at what you pay now

Not on WordPress? Wix, Squarespace and custom sites too.

Level 2 · When you’re ready

Your new website is the first spoke. The rest of the business can work the same way.

Win more work on the front end. Deliver it faster on the back end.

For businesses that have outgrown their patchwork.

We put your data in one place you own.

The front end brings in the work.

The back end delivers it faster.

Every tool reads from and writes to one source of truth, so nothing is typed twice.

Whichever side is the bottleneck, we fix that first.

  • Website
  • Marketing and ads
  • Conversion
  • Lead capture
Your dataOne database you own
  • Team web app
  • Jobs and scheduling
  • Invoicing and accounting
  • AI assistants

Under the hood: a Postgres database as the hub, a custom React web app where off-the-shelf tools don’t fit, and WordPress only where it earns its place.

How a custom build works

Assess. Blueprint. Build. Then it’s yours.

  1. Assess

    Two to four weeks

With you and your key people, we map how work really moves, measure a baseline and find the bottleneck: front end, back end or both.

  2. Blueprint

    Before anything is built

The architecture and an interactive mockup of your future system, so everyone can click through it and agree.

  3. Build

    In phases

Custom software and applied AI, front end or back end first, measured against the baseline.

  4. Own

    Yours to keep

Your code, your data and the documentation, with a proper handover.

The first stage is our Tipping Point Assessment. What it includes

Proof, not promises

We’ve done this before. Here’s what changed.

The back end · Name withheld

A digital marketing agency

About 110 people under 40

About $200,000 a month saved on software and outside contractors alone, before counting payroll.

Our team rebuilt its operations from the inside: connected systems, automation and AI that took over the manual work.

Delivered by the four of us as the agency’s in-house team.

The front end · Level 1, plus custom features

Spreadsheets a website that does the office work

Training registrations, membership renewals, invoices and payments now run through the website, with a new front end that’s easier for members to use, so they can do it themselves instead of calling the office.

Who you’ll work with

One small team. We design it, build it, and hand it over.

You work with the same people from the first question to launch. No hand-offs to another agency, no passwords by email, and everything we build is yours.

Questions

My site isn’t WordPress. Can you still rebuild it?

Yes. Wix, Squarespace, an old custom build or WordPress: we rebuild it as a fast, static site with WordPress behind it for editing, and move your content across.

What does hosting cost after the rebuild?

What you pay your current host now. Send us your latest invoice and we match it. Security updates are included, and you can cancel anytime.

What is the Tipping Point Assessment?

The first stage of every custom build: two to four weeks with you and your key people. You get a written brief of how work moves today, a measured baseline and an interactive mockup of the system we’d build, with a scoped proposal. It’s yours to keep either way.

Do we need to replace all our software?

No. We start with the tools you already have. Where they work, we keep them and connect them. Custom software belongs where your process needs something the existing tools can’t reliably do.

How do you price custom work?

Usually one fixed fee for the assessment and the build together. Where the assessment shows savings we can measure, part of the fee can come from what we save you instead. We agree it before we start.

Who owns what you build?

You do. The website, the software and the documentation are yours, with a handover. We set out access, deliverables and any third-party licences before we build.
